Themia Sica is responsible for developing and driving revenue management strategy for Legacy Ventures’ managed hotel portfolio, ensuring exceptional financial results. She works closely with property-level and regional revenue teams to maximize overall hotel revenue and profitability, driving market share at each property through strategic and in-depth evaluation and analysis of business, mix, distribution channels, and overall rate/inventory management in all market segments.
Prior to joining Legacy Ventures, Themia gained over thirty-one years of experience in the hospitality industry, working in restaurants before becoming a front desk agent in a four-star luxury resort, learning everything from the ground up. Themia went on to work at ITT Sheraton, Starwood Hotels and Marriott International in property, area, and corporate leadership roles, gaining over twenty-one years of experience in revenue management.
Themia has accrued numerous awards and accolades over her career including Starwood Revenue Management Leader of the Year winner, Starwood East Region Quarterly Winner, and achieving Top Forecasting Accuracy multiple times in her years with Starwood. Themia is also Six Sigma Green Belt certified. In her free time, Themia enjoys cheering on her son at his basketball games and is an avid dancer – she used to be a professional jazz dancer and expects to still be dancing when she's old and gray! To get away, Themia enjoys the calm, clear seas of the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, as well as traveling abroad and learning about new cultures and languages.
