Kevin Richards

President, Hotels

Kevin Richards joined Legacy in 2011 to form the company’s Hotel Management division. Kevin is responsible for establishing the overall goals for Legacy Ventures’ managed hotel portfolio, including financial performance, sales goals and performance for all metrics. He actively seeks new third-party management assignments, and is highly involved in new property development and acquisition opportunities. Kevin is passionate about the culture of Legacy Ventures: striving to deliver on the service promise, driving revenues and profitability for each owner and investor, and valuing and respecting the company’s human capital. 

Kevin’s background includes working for several large owner-operator hotel management companies. In over fourteen years with Lodgian, Inc., he served as General Manager, Regional Revenue Manager, VP and Analyst to COO / CEO, VP of Operations and VP of Asset Management, which included oversight of renovations and construction. His revenue management role included development and support of revenue, sales and budget tools for all areas of operations. Kevin holds a BS in Business Administration from West Virginia University.

Kevin enjoys the outdoors and photographing natural wildlife in particular birds and flowers. He is also a car racing enthusiast and is especially interested in vintage race cars.
