Shannayl Deckard

Vice President of Human Resources, Restaurants

Shannayl Deckard oversees all human resources functions of Legacy Ventures’ Restaurant Management division with an eye toward the overall team member experience. Shannayl designs, executes, and supports executive coaching, recruitment, training, and orientation programs. As a member of the Restaurant Management division’s leadership team, Shannayl also actively participates in new concept development and strategic planning for growth. 

Shannayl began her career as a server with Atlanta’s own Taco Mac, where she helped grow the organization from six locations to over thirty-five with five different concepts over her impressive twenty-year tenure. During that time, she served in every department including Operations, Facilities, Human Resources, Training and Acquisitions. Shannayl holds a BBA in Management/Marketing from Kennesaw State University.

Shannayl serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Restaurant Association and is an avid volunteer for The Giving Kitchen. She enjoys attending her children’s sporting events, running, hiking and golfing, as well as spending time at the beach and in the mountains.
