Chef Christopher Blobaum oversees the culinary teams at a Legacy Ventures’ managed assets. With a team of talented chefs behind him, Christopher leads restaurant openings, menu and recipe development, kitchen planning and design, food quality and safety, team hiring, training and development, and executing special events.
Christopher is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York. He has worked for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Houston, TX; Le Merigot Beach Hotel and Spa in Santa Monica, CA; and Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, CA. He served as Chef Partner at Wilshire Restaurant Santa Monica, CA; Executive Chef at The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in Palmetto Bluff, SC; and Corporate Executive Chef at Liberty House Restaurant Corporation, which includes Bones, Blue Ridge Grill and OK Café in Atlanta, GA.
Chris is active in the Organic Farming Research Foundation, is a Founding Member of the Chef’s Collaborative, and is a member of Slow Food. In his free time, Christopher enjoys cooking with his daughter, exploring food markets, gardening and fishing.
