Legacy Ventures developed the 321-suite Embassy Suites Hotel in 1999 as the first new-build hotel in Downtown Atlanta in 15 years. The hotel offers a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Starbuck’s and Kwan’s Korean Kitchen restaurants. Phase II of the project, the Centennial Park West Condominiums, became downtown Atlanta’s first upscale condominium residences when completed in 2002. CPW encompasses 94 upscale residences and 16,000 SF of retail and restaurant space, now occupied by Legacy Test Kitchen, Subway, Great American Cookie, Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream, Baja Fresh and Hello Atlanta.
The project’s location on Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park was initially considered pioneering. Today, this park-fronting property is at the epicenter of downtown’s convention, business and entertainment activity. The project received the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s SMC Professionalism Award for Best Sales Center and the ULI Atlanta District Council Small-Scale Project of the Year Award, and along with the neighboring Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown, earned Legacy Ventures the Hilton Multi-Brand Developer of the Year Award in 2008.
