Legacy Ventures is proud to announce Ivy Mpofu’s promotion from Assistant General Manager of its Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park to General Manager of its DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta – Northlake.
Since joining Legacy Ventures in July of 2015, Ms. Mpofu has proven to be an outstanding leader, role model, and innovator. While at the Embassy Suites Centennial Olympic Park, she helped the hotel achieve its highest TripAdvisor rating ever; played a major role in building and leading the team that would help the hotel reach its highest cleanliness scores ever; and impressively led her team to grow their service scores during a renovation. In everything she does, she takes personal responsibility for the successful operation of the hotel.
Ms. Mpofu was named Hotel Manager of the Year at the 2017 Legacy Excellence Awards Dinner (LEAD), and VP of Hotel Operations, Eve Moore, notes the entire company is pleased with Ms. Mpofu’s growth and fully supports her promotion. “Ivy lives and breathes our Blueprint culture every day, and we know the team at DoubleTree Northlake will excel under her leadership.” President and Founder, David Marvin says, “Ivy’s trajectory within Legacy Ventures is why we are doing what we’re doing.
