EATER FEATURES THE SUMMER OPENING OF DOS BOCAS IN DOWNTOWN ATLANTA

05.22.19

Legacy Ventures announces the summer opening of Dos Bocas in the former Legal Sea Foods location at 275 Baker St. Inspired by Brian Bullock’s travels throughout Louisiana and Texas, this restaurant will feature a Mexican-Cajun cuisine. The menu at Dos Bocas, or “two mouths”, includes dishes like campechana, shrimp etouffee, po’boys and barbecue shrimp.

“While running restaurants in Houston and New Orleans earlier in my career, I developed a love for the cuisine across the two states,” Brian Bullock, COO of restaurants for Legacy says. “A few years ago, when our team at Legacy Ventures opened a restaurant on Mustang Island in South Texas, my passion for Cajun and Tex-Mex cuisine was reignited. Finally, the right opportunity came around to create a restaurant serving the food we love here in Atlanta.”

Currently under construction, the two-story restaurant, designed by local Atlanta firm ASD|SKY, has 8,000-square-feet that includes a large bar and an outdoor patio overlooking the new greenspace at Centennial Olympic Park.
