STATS Brewpub and Brewmaster Austin Edwards cleaned house at the 2019 Big South Beer Competition, winning 2 gold medals and Best In Show.
The competition encompasses 10 categories defined by the BJCP Beer Style Guidelines. STATS Brewpub’s 300 Pilsner received a gold medal in the Lager category, and its Shooter McGavin Witbier received a gold medal in the Belgian Ale category. Shooter McGavin Witbier was voted Best in Show and the Grand Champion. In 2018 Shoot McGavin Wit received the silver medal in the Belgian Ale category.
